Glossary
-
Bet credits: A promotional balance that can be used to place bets. They are not real money and cannot be withdrawn.
-
Qualifying Bet: A bet that meets specific criteria (e.g., stake amount, odds) required to unlock bet credits or to be eligible for an offer.
-
Stake: The amount of money you wager on a bet.
-
Winnings: The amount returned to you from a winning bet, excluding your original stake.
Bet credits are a form of promotional balance offered by bet365. They allow you to place bets without using your own cash balance. Any winnings from bets placed with bet credits will be added to your withdrawable balance, but the bet credits stake itself will not be returned.
Qualification for bet credits
The bet credits are typically awarded through various promotions and offers. The specific terms and conditions for each offer will detail how to qualify for and receive bet credits.
Using bet credits
When you have bet credits available, you will see them as an option when placing a bet.
To place a bet using bet credits, select "Use bet credits" in the bet slip.
Important Tip
If your bet wins, the winnings will be added to your withdrawable balance. The original bet credits stake will not be returned. For example, if you stake £10 in bet credits on a bet with odds of 2.00 and win, you will receive £20 in winnings (£10 stake + £10 profit), but the £10 bet credits stake is not returned.
Settlement of Bets
-
If a bet is void and had an opportunity to win (e.g., a push), bet credits stakes will not be returned.
-
If a bet is void and had no opportunity to win (e.g., a player in a Goalscorer bet didn't play), bet credits stakes will be returned.
Impact on Withdrawals
Bet credits cannot be withdrawn as cash. They can only be used to place bets.
Bet credit Expiry
Bet credits expire seven days after they are added to your balance.
